Build Up Bahamas is a community driven initiative dedicated to improving neighborhoods, supporting local residents, increasing food production, Eco-Protection and beautifying tourism areas across the Bahamas.
Our mission is simple:
Work together with locals, diaspora, businesses, and governments to rebuild communities one block at a time.
Through volunteerism, donations, and corporate partnerships, we are transforming underserved areas while creating pride, opportunity, and sustainable development.

Step 1 – Community Launch & Awareness
Launch the “Paint the Block Initiative” with community events inviting residents, businesses, and diaspora supporters to participate by bringing a can of paint or making a donation. The goal is to mobilize volunteers, build awareness, and unite the community around improving neighborhoods across Bahamas.
Step 2 – Partnerships with Hotels & Sponsors
Partner with hotels, local businesses, beverage companies, and sponsors to support the initiative through donations, supplies, and promotional partnerships. In return, participating businesses receive visibility, discount travel codes, and inclusion in tourism promotions through platforms such as Expedia, Bahamar and Sandals Bahamas ect.
Step 3 – Beautification & Neighborhood Improvements
Volunteers Local Politicians and partners repaint homes, commercial buildings, and community spaces within key tourism corridors with a focus on assisting elderly residents and underserved neighborhoods such as Bain Town. The goal is to improve the appearance of communities while restoring dignity to residents.
Step 4 – Food Gardens & Local Sustainability
Through partnerships with GardenPlane.com, empty lots and backyard spaces are converted into productive food gardens, increasing local food production and helping families reduce grocery costs while strengthening food security in the community.
Step 5 – Reinvesting in Communities
A portion of all donations, sponsorships, and event proceeds will be reinvested into long-term community improvements, including home renovations for seniors, pothole repairs, sanitation upgrades, and continued neighborhood beautification projects—ensuring that tourism and community support directly benefit local residents.
Securing a brighter future for our youth.
